If the group of at least three same-colored elements is matched in a column or a row, these gems are removed from the playing field, and the player is awarded valuable points. The player is tasked to analyze the large playing field full of colorful elements and then pick which two elements he wants to swap. The core puzzle mechanic of the Gardenscapes game does not stray much from the popular formula.
