In this Diablo 4 public service announcement, we’ll tell you how to propagate your map and Altar of Lilith data to the rest of your characters in Season of the Malignant and beyond. One of those improvements, however, comes with a bit of an annoying work around if you want to carry some of your progress over to Season of the Malignant.

The only things you can bring with you to new seasonal characters are store cosmetics, Battlepass Cosmetics, special cosmetics from collectors editions or special D4 events, unlocked Lillith Statue buffs, and account-wide titles from various sources.Diablo 4 is only about 6 weeks old, but Blizzard Entertainment has already made a number of improvements to the game ahead of season 1.

You keep all your progress and all your gear for your characters on this realm.

Your seasonal characters remain intact in this realm, can trade an interact with your other non-seasonal characters and other player’s non-seasonal characters. This is where EVERY character ultimately winds up. After each season ends, characters are transferred to an “Eternal Realm”.The Battle Pass is different each season, meaning the objectives and rewards will change, which is why they are only 3 months long each, and the seasonal journey always begins with a fresh level 1 character. Rewards include things like permanent cosmetic skins for your characters’ gear. Each season has a path of unlocks, called a Battle Pass, where you get bonuses and rewards as you play the game and complete specific objectives.
